Tell Connecticut Legislators: Take These Steps Toward Education Equity

This year, after nearly a decade of advocacy, the Appropriations Committee has proposed that Connecticut finally fully fund the Education Cost Sharing (ECS) formula. While this is a significant step forward, there is still more to be done.

Contact Connecticut legislators to demand an investment in the future of education. We are calling on state leadership to take the steps necessary to serve all students:
• Maintaining the tuition cap and eventually eliminating tuition billing
• Add a weight for special education students to the ECS Formula
Support H.B. 7239 to aid in capital projects like infrastructure and maintenance costs for schools
