MA Lawmakers: THANK YOU for Passing the Right to Read Act

Thanks to years of relentless advocacy, the Right to Read Act passed unanimously this summer. Every lawmaker and organization that made the legislation possible, including Members of the Mass Reads Coalition, Senator DiDomenico, and Representatives Cataldo and Sena, deserves enormous credit.

The Right to Read Act aligns with what teachers across the Commonwealth and the country want: 83% of teachers in Massachusetts and 94% nationally believe that all educators should use high-quality, evidence-based curricula.

While more work remains, the legislation is a historic first step in tackling our literacy crisis. Sign your name and thank lawmakers for listening to educators and passing the Right to Read Act!
